Was invited to a product launch by Maybelline, and because its makeup, you know I will definitely try to be there. Thankfully, I'm having my off day. So companion of the day is none other than Annaling. Heez.. She was the first that came to my mind when I was invited. And coincidentally, she was invited as well.Yup, that's us. Pretty obvious. I went there with makeup, only to know that we should have our makeup clear, so as we can try on their products.
Now, this is interesting. Everytime we hear of a particular product review, we see all the pros and hype, but in reality, how convince are you? The fact that we had hands on for their products, not only make me excited, it makes me feel and be able to give very honest reviews about their products. So you are in luck today, because there is going to be lots of reviews.
Posters were everywhere, and it got me so excited, because all I want is to have my hands on experience.Here I am at the table, with a leaflet, my very own mirror (Annaling and I love this mirror so much, that we wanted to bring it home.. heez...), makeup remover and other essentials.And that is not all. We actually had our very own goody bag. Yipee.. Mind you, all those makeup that they gave us, are not in miniature size. So tell me, what's not to enjoy about this event?

But to be more focus, this party event was to introduce all makeup junkies their latest mascara, and gel eyeliner.The unstoppable curly extension mascara. That name itself is a total giveaway. Its so handy and best part, its package in a pink tube. Therefore, I definitely love it. By the way, have any of you have a love-hate relationship for mascara? Love- because they lengthen and give volume for your eyelashes. They made your eyes look oh-so-beautiful. Hate- because you always have difficulty in removing them.

Now good news, this mascara here is the best of both world. They give you the curve at the right place, and removing it, is as easy as ABC. Just a little soap and water, and there you go, clean eyes. And it does not harden your lashes. Ooh... Just what I love.
So, that's us, without makeup. And below, you can see the difference when my makeup is on.Saw the difference in my eyelashes? (BETTER SAY YES!)

Alright, just kidding. That was an excuse for me to post up another picture of the 2 of us. Hee.. We did not take a close up shot, but trust me, those eyelashes indeed have volume and lengthening efftect.

The next product they launched was the Eye Studio Creamy Gel eyeliner. I've been using gel eyeliner for as long as I can remember, from The Makeup Store. But the damage done to my wallet was not small. Not only, must I purchase the eyeliner, I need to get myself a brush as well. But Maybelline is different. They provide the brush as well, and its a good one too. Wow, that is really cost saving to me. Apology for not having a photo to show you how it look, we forgot to take a shot. Heez..Red lipstick gets me excited. I'm in love with red lips lately. So when I saw Annaling's goodie bag with that colour, I was so glad. And after using it, I fall head over heels over this lipstick.

Initially, I thought it would be very dramatic. But when I applied, I was surprised. It gives a very smooth application, and the colour was much lighter than what I expect. Last but not least, it gives moisture to your lips, making it look moist. Now, a little wet lips make one look really sexy.Can't see that we were actually using that shade of lipstick right? I told ya!That's all we had for the night. Did we had fun? Yes!!! And I hope you girls out there will find this useful too. Heez..

All thanks to Shirley (again..), I've got myself a sample from shespace. She got me Zelda's Revenge, and look how pigmented it is.Simply love it. There is little pink glitters in the black pigment as well. Believe it or not, this is just one finger swap, and without any base. I just can't believe how much pigment I can get with one swap. I shall share the rest of the swap that Shirley did for me with her samples. Man, I'm loving them all.Beautiful right? Now, I'm so tempted to get myself all these pretty stuffs too. Thank you for introducing me to theshespace. Heez...

And now, here's my haul the other day when I bought eyelashes. As my permed eyelashes are beginning to lose its curl, I turn to falsies again. And there I go again, telling myself to save.

Finally, someone invented a lipstick that stick to only your lips, and will not fade away. Neither will it stick onto your wine glass, while you are enjoying your wine tasting, nor leaving stain on cigarette butts.

Now, that's something I will really spend my money on. At least, I know it is worth it. Here's a little information to share. Do you know that average woman actually consume about 4 to 6 pounds of lipstick in her lifetime? I read this from somewhere before, and I simple can't believe this. That means alot of chemicals is going into my body.L'Oreal Infallible lipstick packaging was compact and sleek. Not forgetting that it is kept in a mirrored casing.Each casing consist of the lipstick, and a conditioning lip balm. Apply the colour first, then follow by the lip balm. This can stay on your lips for hours, and its not an easy task to remove the colour. Exactly the reason why I love it.On the left, its Stay Nude, and on the right, its Invincible Red. Get this if you think that applying lipstick time after time a hassle!!

Get gorgeously tanned

Yet another beauty kit from Too Faced. This time round its their bronzer that got me excited. The cover itself is way too sexy for me to resist, with pin up girls posing in sultry styles. Accompanied with unique names that are easy to remember.Snow Bunny is a combination of 4 colours, and like its name, it give a very light, glowy, bronzing effect. Act as a winter bronzer.

Pink Leopard has got to be my favorite. I'm known to like anything under the sun which has something to do with leopard spots. Moreover, this is a PINK leopard, ahh.. adding more plus points. As the name goes, this bronzer brings a little pink out in you. I would say, the final swatch look like a combination of red and brown.

Lastly, Sun Bunny. Sun Bunny gives you the idea of someone spending hours under the sun, getting the right tanned. So, you can expect that this is the only bronzer that is much more bronze as compared to the other two. In fact, it is the best bronzer used for contouring.

With these 3, you need not worry about getting a perfect tan, even on rainy days. Being pretty from home is definitely a pleasure.

I've always believe that eyeliner helps to give more definition to my eyes, and also perk it up. In fact, I thought without it, I will always have that sleepy look, because of my droopy eyes. And then, with many experiments, I found out that gold itself not only is a good highlight, but also give energy to one's eyes.It gives a fresh and neat look. Now I'm more confident to be out without a tinge of eyeliner. Yipee!

Haul from Victoria Secret

I'm always been crazy on Victoria Secret, and I meant everything from them, including lingerie. I can't help but to swoon over their designs each time. Nevertheless, their makeup are just as sexy. Started using one of their beauty rush lip gloss, and was really happy with it. Shipping it from US is a cheaper way to purchase all these goodies.

When I was looking at their products over at Changi airport the other day, I was telling my sister how expensive it is as compared to ordering from US. In fact, it was a total rip off. Yea, but after all those grumblings, I decided that the temptation was too hard for me to resist, and waiting for those goodies to arrive, will get me impatient. So there it is, my newest haul of makeup.
Splurged on a total of 2 Beauty Rush Luminous shadow, 1 liquid glitter liner, and 1 very voluptuous Lip Plumper.Does this really work? You will find out soon. =) Its available in 2 colors, 1 being colourless, the other is baby pink. I got myself the baby pink instead.

Getting my brow done

This post is for clueless, who asked on how I normally draw my brows. Initially I wanted to do this tutorial using a video style. But, I was really nervous, that I end up spoiling everything. So its back to square one. By pictures. Still, I hope this helps.

Like I mentioned before, eyebrow will define your final outcome of your look. No matter how much foundation or eyeshadow you slap on, if your eyebrow is not done properly, then, everything else does not matter anymore.

Because I have a round face, an arch eyebrow will give others the illusion of a slimmer face. So, first step is to trim your eyebrow that fit the shape of your face. And because the end of my brow are a little short, so I used an eyebrow pencil and lengthen it slightly. Next, using an angled brush, together with Anna Sui eyebrow powder, I filled in the sparse area. To give it a more natural finish, I blend it lightly towards the end of my brow.Lastly, to keep your eyebrow in place(you wouldn't want any stray brows right?), the makeup market provide you with tons of products such as the eyebrow gel. For me, I would prefer using hairspray. It not only keep your brow in place, it is also cost saving.Just spray a little, and comb your brow.So that is how exactly I draw my brow. It takes only 5 minutes to get it done.

Too Faced Baked Eyeshadow

This has got to be one of the most beautiful makeup I ever own. Looking just like the milky way, I can't help but to look at it for the longest time every. And the best part is that, when you placed this in different angle, you can actually see a sheen reflecting pink, which you can't see from this picture.The top lid is a magnifying glass, which is interesting. This Super Nova eyeshadow is created to give you a smoky look. So, filled with excitement, I went to do a swatch.

To tell the truth, I expected to see both the gold and black to appear. But with one light touch horizontally, all I got was just charcoal black. Unsatisfied, I tried again. And still the same colour. So I decided to just touch on the gold part instead. But what do you know? Its still black, except that, it is lighter.

Well, I guess that is what you get if you want a smoky look. Black. I tried doing swatches on my hand using MAC paint pot and UDPP as base. This is the result.From left to right, I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, MAC paint pot "Painterly" and no base. I would say, using MAC paint pot will get you the best result. Without any base, the colour looked like dirt, and I believe, its gonna make you look messy. UDPP just gets a matte black. However, with MAC, that was different. At least for me, I get to see this light pink reflecting each time I move my hand in different angle under light. What about you?

Pressing my own pigments

After a period of time, I've finally convince myself that loose pigments can be really messy. And having different containers to hold pigments, actually does take up quite alot of space. Moreover, if I am going oversea or things like that, it will definitely be a hassle to carry all the containers around.

So, I went to pressed my own pigment and made it into a pressed eyeshadow. Wanted to pressed my NYX pigments, but I was so worry that the first attempt will fail (and NYX container is really small, so the amount inside, is not much either), thus, I used my MAC fuschia loose pigment instead.One of my eyeshadow palette has an empty tin, because I dropped this palette accidentally, and the eyeshadow cracked, and was beyond hope. Come to think of it, I could actually use those broken eyeshadow as loose pigments, or to pressed it back again. But at that time, what do I know, right? Right.

So this time around, I cleaned that tube, and put everything into place. And once my pigments are pressed, it looked like this.Beautiful right? Now, I can't wait to press all my NYX pigments. Going oversea is definitely going to be an easier thing now. Yes!!!

The addiction

I've been addicted to makeup since way back time. Never fail to get excited whenever I see colours. And whenever people ask me questions like, "what will you do if you are a millionaire?", my standard answer will be, to buy every single products in MAC.

Yes, I really do love MAC. Their vibrant colours never fail me. But you and I know, that brand is not very friendly to our wallet. Luckily for us, there are also some other brands out there which are just as good, and way cheaper. Then again, it tempts people like me to splurge too. So in summary, my spendings for makeup never end. =)

Used to keep my makeup in a makeup bag, and realising that was a little too small for whatever I owned, my boy got me a makeup kit instead. Within 8 months, that kit is no longer in good shape, and the amount of makeup in there, grew way more than before. So now, I bought something which is feasible for storing everything.This is it. Got it from Muji at a discounted price of $74. And there are a total of 7 drawers. Categorized my items in different drawers.This is how it looks like in the 1st drawer. Mostly NYX. Thank you Shirley!!! Hehe... Followed by Milani Runway Eyeshadow collection. Basically, everything here is mostly pigments and eyeshadows for eyes.2nd drawer is a little messy. A combination of things for both my eyes and face. You can see in there, there are MAC pigments, my concealer, foundations, loose powder and mascara.3rd drawer is also a combination. Except that, this look much neater. Basically, its all about cheeks and lips. So in here, there are different blushers, and a whole lot of lipsticks. Most of them are in palettes form. There is something else that does not belong here, and its the Urban Decay Shimmer Powder. But I have no idea where to place it, so I put it into this drawer instead.Palettes!!! All being placed in my 4th drawer. There's MAC, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Red Earth, Body Shop. And in time to come, there will definitely be more. Officially the best smelling drawer. Because, that's where all the perfumes are kept. Well, not alot, but there is not much of a necessity to me, as compared to eyeshadows and pigments. Besides, in the drawer, its also where I keep my faux eyelashes. Really, I sometimes wonder why I do I make so much purchase on those.If you have no interest at all in makeup, but is interested in getting coiffed, then this is the one and only drawer which you should open. My curling tongs (which vary in different sizes), hair straightener and hair sprays are all waiting for you.My last drawer. And definitely, my most important drawer. I stored my basic essential here. Basically, its more of my brushes, brush cleanser, makeup remover and sponges. Without all these basic, no matter how many pigments or eyeshadows I have on the first few drawers, I can never achieve the look I want.

Urban Decay Shadow Box is something I've always wanted. After looking at so many people reviews, I became really tempted to get one. But lucky me, got this as part of my birthday gift. 10 vibrant colors were staring back at me when I held this in my hand. Tried doing some swatches, and this is the result.All of these are applied without any base or primer, but look at how bright it is. So gorgeous! Colors from left to right are Smog, Mildew, Oil Slick, Last Call, Chopper, Maui Wowie, Shattered, Polyester Bride, Grifter and Sin.

Now, I've gotta get cracking what to do with these colours! Hmm...

DOPE

I'm definitely not a dope. But I do like the cap that my lil' sista bought for me, so with it, I've gotten the next inspiration. Something colourful. Had tried rainbow colors before, so I thought, why not something bright, but not too many colours. And there you go, DOPE arrived!NYX pigments are definitely impressive. Have yet to do swatches on it, but I can't help but to sing praises of how strong the pigments are. All I need is just a little bit, and the colour last. It did not fade a single bit.And a picture of my lips for that day.Here's a little tip, to get more attention for on your lips, sprinkle a little gold glitter in the middle vertically after applying the lipstick colour of your choice. Follow by applying the lip gloss. The glitters will reflect light, thus, making your lips look pouty and pretty.

Having said that, I can't wait to get my hands on Too Faced Lip Injection gloss. Shall try those sweet little things one day. As of now, glitters does the job. =)

Babe, named this look after you. Its pretty obvious, because I used the MAC palette that you gave for my birthday. So, I did a tutorial for you, and hopefully you find this useful. And this is the look that you will be getting. Pardon my tutorial, I don't think it is very well done, because its my virgin attempt. Forgive me ya?I know she like smoky look, so I made full use of the palette, Shadowy Lady X 4. Shadowy Lady consist of Lightfall, Smudged Violet, Deep Truth and Shadowy Lady. First of, start with a clean face, prep it, and apply Urban Decay Primer Potion all over your eye lids.

Next, using MAC paint pot "Painterly", apply all over up to the creases.Then, using your medium round brush, pick up Smudged Violet, and applied up to your eye crease. And you should be looking like this by now.After this, use your angled brush and pick up Shadowy Lady and applied it at the outermost of your eye, creating a "V" shape, and slightly blend in.Then, using your blending brush, take some Lightfall and applied it right below your brow. This helps in highlighting your brow. With the same brush, blend all the colours together, so that no harsh lines can be seen. Lastly, as you have noticed, the blue (which is otherwise known as Deep Truth) was not used. So using a small, thin angled brush, underline your lower lash line. Try using Maybelline Impact Express Teal together to get a much more attracting blue.There you go, once all colours are up, apply your eyeliner and mascara. Your eyes are now complete. Fill in your brows and do not forget your blusher and lipstick. In this look, I used Bad Girl Lash Mascara from Benefit.So babe, try it ok? And do give me your most sincere comments. Hopefully, all of you enjoyed reading this. =)

Happy Belated Birthday to Me

Yup, I'm officially 21 years old, there goes my freedom key. Yipee.. No longer under my parents wing. Held a little party and I'm here to show you how I look that day. The whole eye makeup was using Milani alone. And I certainly do love how I look that day.No close up shots of my eyes. But look carefully, I did eyelashes perming once again. As I grow older, I began to get a little lazy for putting those falsies. Afterall, natural is still the best.

And oh, not forgetting the haul of makeups that my friends got me. How can I ever thank them? Really happy about it! Take a look!The brushes alone had already caused my jaws to drop. Makeup brushes are not cheap, much less the whole package of it. I was really terrified when I saw it. It was like a dream come true. Had always wanted the whole set of makeup brushes, but the thought of spending my money on it, is so not worth, that's why I own only the essential tools. But now, I own the whole set. Gosh! And if you look into that big red box, its all makeup from different brands- ranging from Urban Decay, NYX, Too Faced, Benefit, and Bare Escentuals. All imported from oversea. I'm too happy for words. So girls, stay tune for all the swatches, and of course, more looks and reviews. Thank you girls for the wonderful gifts. Exotic

Warning: The pictures this time round is not properly taken. Nevertheless, the eye makeup can still be see. Pardon me ya? I was in rushed for my birthday celebration.

This look took me approximately an hour to get it done. Its not the usual pinkish tones that you see on me. In fact, no pink was used. Basically, its just yellow, brown and teal. And trust me, teal is one good colour that goes well with anyone.I'm certainly not proud of the photography this time. But still, everything is pretty clear (self consolation). I will definitely do this look again another round. And if you like it, I will post it as a tutorial too.

P.S. Yipee, I'm glad. I've gotten all my Milani Runway eyeshadow collection. I know I'm slow, but its part of my happiness. =)

Had an escape from Singapore, and now that I'm back, its time for blogging ya? Finally I received the pictures from Aini. Yep, its the day when I did makeup for both Aini and Uma. And someone actually commented that I looked very focused and serious while I do makeup. Haha.. Look at the table, palettes and palettes. But those are just a handful of my collection. Can't possibly carry the whole makeup kit to work.Pictures are not really clear, and the lighting is definitely not helping. But its alright, just a rough idea. Here we go.Simple makeup for Uma, so I did velvet for her, since she is wearing something in purple.

And green for Aini.Photos does not do justice. Basically, the inner corner is yellow gold, and I added shimmery green on the outer. Yea, once again, I like her makeup.

Review: D Makeup Corrector

This little thing caught my attention when I was shopping over at Daiso. I was pretty much curious how exactly does this makeup corrector work? Won't it be the same if I were to use a makeup remover and remove the flaws that I wanted out. But since it only cost $2, I decided to purchase it and give it a try.The packaging itself failed to impress me. But what can you expect for something that is only worth $2 right? You pay for what you get. Nevertheless, it didn't bother me much. Afterall, I'm only interested to know how and if this thing work.

When I first tested it on my hand, it felt like candle wax to me. And somehow, it has this slight oily feeling. Well, I really hate things that make my face feel greasy, but am I glad to know that the greasiness will be gone once you wiped everything away.While dolling myself, I accidentally got a smudge line below my right eye. Alright, now we are going to put this corrector into good use. Hmm..So, using the tip of the applicator, apply it to the affected area. Just apply minimal, after which, you wipe it with a clean tissue paper. And viola, the ugly flaw is gone forever.So there goes the question, what's the difference with makeup remover pad or cleanser? I would say, this is more time saving. As the tip is small, you will only focus on the flaw itself and will not end up removing makeup that is around the flaw.

What I like: -The price. Its only $2. Even if this does not work, I would not feel the heartache.
- The small tip that will only be focus on the spot that you want to remove.
- Size of it makes it so handy that you can carry it everywhere you go.

What I dislike: - Though the tip may be small, but there is no way you can sharpen it, thus after long use, its going to be blunt, and the focus area will be bigger. Blah.
- Greasy feeling. But like I mentioned above, everything can be wiped away by tissue.
- Packaging really fails to impress me. Seriously, it look as though its something that would be chuck at one corner after some time.

Price: $2 available at Daiso

Will I buy again: Maybe. In fact, most probably, yes. =)

Inspired Arabian Look

I've always adore Arabian makeups. The eyes are always so vibrant with colour. The mixture of different colours just blend so nicely with one another. Besides, they always have this mysterious look which is so attention seeking, and others eyes are constantly stuck on them.

After much time, I've finally trying this on myself. In a different lighting.I just love those eyes. Eyeliner shapes out the eyes so beautifully. For this look, my playthings are purely MAC pigments and eyeshadow. Intensify the colours by using a wet brush. Everyone's Doing It

Everyone who owns Urban Decay Primer Potion will definitely do this. Its a well known fact that the packaging is not user friendly. Just when you thought you had already used up your potion because the applicator seems to be getting dry, you got yourself a surprise when you find out that there are tons of it inside left, untouched.

Therefore, today its my turn to do what I should do. Cutting open this little bottle. (Aww, when will Urban Decay arrive to Singapore? The shipping fee is so expensive. Sob.)Bought this 3-in-1 container from Daiso, and without further ado, I gotten everything going.It would be a sin for me to waste this large amount. Fully untouched!Now I'm truly satisfied. =)My next post will be on this cheap looking thing. Now, what exactly is this? I'm beginning to fall in love with it. Stay tune!

Review: Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base

Oh gosh, I'm so addicted to makeup, which is pretty obvious. Its like written all over my forehead. Trying to update my blog through my hectic schedule. Next week, I will be having my annual leave, which means, I will have tons of time to do review, and play around with colours. Hopefully, I get some assignments too. Anyone need a makeup artist?

Anyway, today I wanna share with you my experience with Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base. It is known for its waterproof and shining effect. Available in gold and pink, I chose to test the pink base.

Indeed, true to its word, the light reflecting pearl makes your face look all glowy with its shining effect, enhancing your all glamorous look. I especially like the fact that it is able to act as a highlight. However, the con of this product is, it make your face turn oily after awhile. In fact, for mine, it turned oily in less than an hour. Now, I couldn't possibly be blotting my face every 15 minutes. You know what I mean.

What I like: -The base itself is pink, and I'm a big sucker for anything PINK.

- Scent. It has this very sweet and pleasant smell.

- Economical pricing. Everything is so expensive this day, but I'm glad that this is not overpriced.

What I dislike: -The oilyness. Eww... It will be perfect if I was in a cold country. Being in Singapore, the outburst of sweat is not going to be friendly on the skin.

Price: $22 for 15mls

Quality: 3/5

Will I buy it again: Maybe.

The Best Combination

Everyone knows pink and blue goes very well with each other. So here I am, using my favorite colours, and getting this neat look. A look that can be worn for almost any event, because its that simple. =) I especially love the picture below. I like the contrast. For this look, I used Milani runway eyeshadow. And I'm so glad because I'm about to finish collecting my collection of Milani runway. Yeah!My obsession seems never ending. Review: Covermark Moisture Veil

I was introduced to this brand a year back, with my best friend raving about how good Covermark is and tempting me to get one. Thus, when Covermark Moisture Veil face powder reached my hands, I can't wait to try. Afterall, I've tried different concealer and slap tons of foundation, but they failed to do what it should do- covering up marks.
The 2 pictures above is a comparison made on the different powder I used. The first picture(with brown eyeshadow) was using other brand of powder, accompanied with concealer and foundation. Take a look at the second picture (emerald), its obviously using the product that I'm sharing with you right now. Not only does Covermark Moisture Veil cover my facial mark (this sounds very pun), it also unintentionally made my face glow.

The product itself is soft to touch, and the coverage is awesome. A little goes a long way. I have you know that my skin belongs to the oily category, especially the T-zone, and makeup tends to be gone once those sinful oil glands start producing, but with this product, it definitely make my skin look matte for at least 8 hours.

What I like: -The coverage, of course.
- The texture
- Packaging makes it so convenient to carry around

What I dislike: I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Price: $55

Would I buy again: You bet! Definitely a big YES!Say Bye to ugly spots and freckles today! =)

I received a new baby from my wonderful colleague, Shirley, who gave me a NYC shimmer that she got from oversea. Failed to take a picture of it, but with that, I created a new look.At the inner corner of my eyes, I used NYC shimmer and at the outer corner, black was being used. A dash of pink was dabbed on the inner most of my eyes.

Know Thy Brushes Well

Brushes are the main essentials to makeup. Without them, irregardless of the number of palettes of eyeshadow, blushers, lip palettes (and the list goes on), you will never be able to attain a perfect look.

Then again, there is no perfect in makeup. Doing one look may please someone, and on the other hand, another might detest that look. It all depends on how people appreciate your art.

I have friends who asked me about the usage of different brushes, and some even asked if there was a need to have so many of them. My answer is, get the essentials one. One can't live by just one brush alone. And for this, you've got to understand them. Understand them like how you understand your partners ok? Alright, here we go, its gonna be lengthy, but its a MUST if you are about to splurge on your brushes.

Face brushThis brush is for the application of face powder, and also helps to dust off the excess. This helps to give your makeup a smooth finish. Besides, you can also use it for contouring and shading (this is very important to me). An essential tool if contouring and shading means alot to you.

Blush BrushThe one and only ~~blush~~ brush that will make you ~~brush~~ blush. The name itself is self explanatory. Used it to apply a little blusher to give you those rosy cheeks. Need not purchase expensive brand for this tool. I'm pretty sure you are going to agree that this is a must- have tool too.

Angled Brush (otherwise known as Eyebrow Brush)Sparse eyebrow? This is something that every woman on earth must own. It helps to fill up your eyebrow, and also extend eyebrows to perfection. Ditch this if eyebrow embroidery suffice you. The final outlook all depends on this tool because the shape of your eyebrow alone can do wonders with your look.

Eyeshadow BrushEyeshadow brush comes in different shapes and sizes. Choose the rounded one as it helps to contour your eyes. As for size, there are the larger, medium and the smaller ones. Use this brushes to handle pigments or add socket lines. Make sure you choose the right size for the different purpose.

Blending BrushMy favorite!!! The most lenient brush of all. How can a brush be lenient when it is a non living thing? Let me explain. This brush blends the different eyeshadow colour together and leaves no HARSH lines behind. Ok, pardon my corny explanation. Anyway, you get what I mean. Harsh lines are a taboo. This is so very important. Splurge on this brush. You will be just as joyous as anyone who owns it.

Fan BrushPretty much live up to its name, considering the outlook. This brush sweeps away the unwanted pigments which falls on your cheeks when you are concentrating really hard, dabbing pigments on your eyes. An optional tool.

Lip BrushHelps in perfecting a lip line.

Of course, there are many other brushes out in the market that I did not mention over here. This is just an overview of what is necessary for daily makeup routine. Start painting on your canvas(face) with these tools today. Cheers!

Promise there will be no repeats anymore. I just wanted to keep a collection of all the makeups I've done before here.For the benefit of those who popped by for the first time, wanna share with you the colours I used for this look. Basically its violet, hot pink, and green. UDPP is a bonus.

I'm not really a sunshine girl, ain't that kind that would don a bikini and tanned myself over at the beach. This explains why I'm so fair. Eww...Did this sunshine inspired look. With such a concept in mind, I got my fingers and brushes going again.
Don't fake eyelashes does wonders to a person eyes? It makes your eyes talk.

Colours used here are: orange, fuschia pink, carbon, yellow, peacock blue.

And if you are led here by my personal blog, I'm gonna show you the swatches of the 2 pigments I bought from MAC.Both Fuschia and Blonde Gold cost me $38 each. Both are equally bright and so intensifying. Always the reason behind why I love MAC.The pigments were used when I did the leopard print look. My all time favorite look.

Yea, I know. You might have seen this before on my personal blog. But this is where it should belong, because this is my makeup blog. =)

I need more inspirations for other looks. Suggestions anyone?

Big Beautiful Eyes

I'm pretty sure every women want their eyes to look pretty as they are the window to our soul. Especially for Asian, our eyes are normally in the form of an almond, and a majority of us, have small eyes. For me, I have those droopy eyes, and in regards to it, eyeliner is like a savior to me. It contours the shape of my eyes, and also helped to lift up the ends, so as to minimize the droopy look.

When I was introduced by one of my friend about Benefit, I was totally into that brand, given that they have very pretty packaging. First impression definitely make a difference. Browsing through the catalogue, I found "Big Beautiful Eyes". Nope, they are not selling eyes, it is just a kit that allow us women, to achieve what we always wanted- Big Beautiful Eyes. The name of the kit is too much of a hint.

Many of us by now, should have heard of this. It consist of a concealer that suit a majority of skin tone, and 3 other eyeshadow. Not only that, it has a little booklet which gives you a simple step-by-step instructions on how to use it. Mini brushes are provided, just so you need not purchase the extra brush that you are lacking of, for example, blending brush, concealer brush and others.
My eyes were more define right after using it. Though it is a little pricey, but trust me, its worth every penny. Like its brand name goes, you will definitely BENEFIT from it. I promise. =)

I've always wanted to set a site for makeup ravings, and to blog incessantly about it. So here we go, a little introduction about me.

My passion for makeup has always been with me since I was at a younger age. I love colours, and had always been yearning to study about it. The versatility of makeup never fails to amaze me. And indeed, it probes me to understand them further.

I had been wanting to study makeup since ages back. Due to certain constraints, I was unable to achieve it. Hence, after I began working, my hard earned money was then spent on learning how to colour one's face.

I never regretted learning, in fact, I've grown closer to makeup, and they are just like best friends. Makeup allow me to express my emotions, from feeling happy, romantic, jovial, to sad, emotional me.

In this line, a certificate is unnecessary, though, it would be an extra help. But as long as you stay creative and willing to learn, you know you can succeed.

For this blog, its going to be about reviews of makeup (of course) and several other things related to it. Now, wish me a smooth sailing to this site of mine. I can't wait to play with my toys(makeup palette) again!
